## Why Audio Factory Club exists? ### January 1st, 2025 I understood late in life that I came in this world to create, experience, execute and share music... and I also denied for too long that I have somewhat of an ease with technology. I'm a musician and a software engineer, passionate about both, and I could talk for years about these passions of mine, but instead I want to say why I believe Audio Factory Club should exist in the most true and authentic way I possibly can. --- #### How it all started First of all, let me briefly introduce myself: Hi, my name is [Heitor Silva](https://heitorsilva.com/about), and I'm the dreaming mind behind Audio Factory Club. I've been passionate about music and technology since I was 12 years old, which made me learn guitar, be in bands, play some shows, study a bit of music production, but also graduate and work as a software engineer. In 2016 I had to move from my hometown to another, and in 2018 from my home country to another, which turned into a long season of me being away from music, up until 2020 where I started feeling terrible, without a sense of self and without a purpose. I had this urge to reconnect with music, and surround myself as much as I could with it, so I started studying music production, and I got involved in mentorships that touched topics like music for advertising, for films and for games. All this sparkled ideas in my head that took me 2 years to structure and make a plan I could believe in and execute. #### What this brand stands for Audio Factory Club should represent a place where individuals like me can trust to find tools, resources, and knowledge to learn on their own, with little to no financial burden, no matter where they are, transforming their ideas into successful audio related projects. I welcome people from all walks of life to join the club, no matter their race, culture, spiritual beliefs, gender identity or social background. Let our love for music and tech unite us in a safe space where we can all learn and grow together. Feedback will be always required and appreciated to guarantee the club makes sense for everbody, and to guarantee it contains exactly what we all need to make our projects come to life. In fact, feel free to [send me a message](mailto:[email protected]) and let me know what topics you're interested in or needing help the most. I myself will be learning and growing while building this material for us, so I promise to be as transparent as possible, and to be always improving what the club can offer. #### What to expect from now on Because I have experience with tech projects, there's one concept from them I'm very fond of: Roadmaps. The idea is to provide study guides using roadmaps of roles we can encounter in music-tech projects, like [audio programmer](https://audiofactory.club/trainings/audio-programmer), [music producer](https://audiofactory.club/trainings/music-producer), [sound designer](https://audiofactory.club/trainings/sound-designer) and [many others](https://audiofactory.club/trainings). These roadmaps will be supported by articles, courses, podcasts, videos and tools, and are the reason why Audio Factory Club exists. You will have a starting point, a path to follow, and a goal to reach, all in one place with everything you might need. #### Ready to start? To leverage the full potential this brand has to offer, I invite you to [create your account](https://audiofactory.club/sign-up), [register for newsletters](https://audiofactory.club/newsletter) and [subscribe in the club's Youtube channel](https://youtube.com/@audiofactoryclb).
